Global Life Science Ventures — Investing in the life sciences

Global Life Science Ventures (GLSV) is a leading, independent venture capital fund focusing exclusively on the life sciences. GLSV is dedicated to supporting early-stage groups, originating from universities, scientific institutions or industry. The fund may also invest in selected later stage companies, including buy-outs. For this purpose, GLSV provides finance, advice and access to expertise and networks. The group currently advises and manages funds totalling more than € 200 million. With offices in Germany and Switzerland, GLSV acts as one team with a global perspective.

Directions to our office in Zug, Switzerland

From train station Zug by taxi approx. 5 min to “Postplatz 1”.

From train station Zug on foot (approx. 10 min, 700 m):

  • Exit the train station onto “Alpenstrasse”.
  • Pass “Conditorei Speck” (on your left), cross the “Gotthardstrasse” and do a half turn to your left walking over “Bundesplatz” (“Coop City” on your right).
  • Turn slight left toward lights, cross the road and stay on “Bahnhofstrasse”, passing “Franz Karl Weber” and “Grand Café” (on your left) until you come straight onto “Postplatz” at the next lights.
  • Destination is the main post office building (on your left).
  • Standing in front of the main entrance, turn right and move around the building to the entrance at the back side.
  • The GLSV offices are on the third floor.

Directions to the Zug office by car:

  • Autobahn Exit 3 „Baar/Aegeri/Albis“ (left lane), drive straight toward “Inwil” at first traffic lights and turn right in direction “Inwil/Zug” at the second intersection with lights.
  • Stay on “Zugerstrasse” direction “Zug Zentrum/Altstadt/Walchwil” all the way straight in to the city to “Bundesplatz”.
  • Change to the left lane “Gotthard” and follow this lane along the lakeside (Vorstadt). Stay on this lane (now “Zürich”) until you have the lake in your back and the post office in front of you (destination: Postplatz 1).
  • There are no parking lots for our guests at the post office, the next possibility is by turning left on the “Zürich” lane passing “Zuger Kantonal Bank” and about 50 m around the corner there is the underground parking “Schmidgasse” (on your left).
